Mark Birbeck and I presented our recent work, sponsored by the NIC, on building a semantic web platform for health data, at Semtech London 2011.
The presentation briefly covers the project origins, technical architecture, challenges that have been faced, and a roadmap for developing a generic platform for importing, linking, reasoning over and visualising statistical data.
Thanks to everyone who attended, presented and organised Semtech, I met lots of really smart people and it was a great privilege to be invited to speak.
These slides are light on detail, some of the new architecture is described in more detail in my blog post Linked Data Platform Architecture mk. II.
